Harvest of Thorns Classic: A Play is a riveting stage drama adapted by the author from his own famous, award-winning novel. This powerful story follows the Tichafa family, focusing on their son, Benjamin, as he grows up in a world of poverty and racism in colonial Rhodesia. Benjamin is eventually swept into a violent, historic struggle for independence that forces him to grow up fast. It is a moving and deeply humane tale of sacrifice, love, and the birth of a new nation.
